Above 5 mm, stones wedge in, paddles break and the motor trips. Keep it at 3–5 mm and most expensive mixer repairs never happen.

The pressure sensor stops the tanker at about 40 mbar, before the safety valve opens at 50. A silo shell can be damaged above 70 mbar; a tanker delivers at up to 2 bar.
