What the manual is

The BetonParts maintenance manual, on this site and as PDF books, is general, brand-neutral information. It describes practices and values common in the industry. It does not replace your machine maker’s manual, the regulations of your country, or the training of your staff.

Your machine first

If your manufacturer’s nameplate, drawing or manual gives a different value for your machine, the manufacturer’s value wins.

Qualified people only

• Procedures marked TECHNICIAN are for trained mechanics with the right tools.
• Electrical work is for a qualified electrician, with the circuit isolated and tested dead.
• Entering a mixer drum is confined-space work: never alone, with a second person outside and a rescue plan.
• Never enter a cement silo or an aggregate bin with material in it: material can collapse and bury a person.
• Never bridge, remove or defeat a safety device.

Liability

ATALAN PRO MECH takes great care over the accuracy of the manual but does not guarantee that it is complete, free of errors, or suitable for a particular machine or situation. To the extent permitted by law, ATALAN PRO MECH is not liable for damage, injury, lost production or other loss resulting from use of the manual or the diagnosis tool. This limitation does not apply to intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or to personal injury where the law does not allow it.

Diagnosis tool, part pages and 3D viewer

The diagnosis tool suggests likely causes, not a certain diagnosis. The 3D viewer is a simplified model for orientation, not to scale. Part IDs must be confirmed with us before ordering.

Translations

The English and French versions are the reference texts. Other language versions are translated for convenience; if they differ, the English version prevails.
