- Symptom
- One motor draws much more current than the other
- Likely cause
- Mechanical resistance on that shaft (bearing, gearbox, build-up, sync link) or a supply phase fault.
- Check
- Compare currents, check voltage balance, turn each shaft by hand.
- Fix
- Remove the cause before it becomes a breakdown.
