Usually replaced together

A brake that drags or creeps can also be a failing rectifier or coil.

What to send when ordering

• Plant and skip maker, model, skip capacity in litres, track length and slope.
• Wire rope: diameter, construction, lay direction, grade, length and terminations, or the old rope’s tag.
• Wheels: diameter, width, bore, bearing number, flanged or plain.
• Sheaves: outside diameter, groove size, bore and bearing.
• Brake motor: nameplate photo with kW, voltage, brake torque and brake voltage.
