- Empty scale does not return to zero
- Likely cause
- Something binds the scale: hard sock, stiff hose, tight rod, build-up.
- Check
- Finger test: press the hopper rim and let go; walk round the scale.
- Fix
- Free the scale and clean. Fit soft, flexible socks.
