Scraping or screeching
⚠ STOP the equipment until this is fixed.

- Scraping or screeching
- Likely cause
- A paddle or scraper touches the liner, or a foreign object is inside.
- Check
- Turn by hand (locked out); look for shiny contact marks.
- Fix
- Remove the object; reset the gap to 3–5 mm. Metal-to-metal contact breaks castings.
